7 years old Christian girl was gang raped by 4 Muslims on Easter Day in village Malloke in Sub-District Daska of District Sialkot. On Pressure of media, police arrested three culprits but released one and kidnapped father of victim girl to press upon to withdraw case that bail may be granted to other two rapists. The family of culprits is very influential and has contacts with leaders of ruling PML (N) who are supporting them.

Two Muslim Landlords Mr. Ahmad Yar Nagra and Mr.Zulifqar Nagra made pressurized her family not to file complaint against the rapist. On 22 April the FIR NO.152/2014 under sections 201,376 PPC was registered against the rapist and two other persons, who halted the victim Christian family to reach the Daska police and created hurdles in the registration of this case, on the direction of DPO Sialkot. The rapist arrested and one other co-accused got pre-arrest bail while other co-accused of FIR was declared innocent by the police investigation.DSP told that the victim’s medical examination had already confirmed rape with her.He added that the accused rapist Fakhar has confessed his sin.

The girl is hospitalised still in a “critical condition” in Alama Iqbal Civil Hospital, Sialkot

The locals, with the help of the police, abducted the girl`s father, Iqbal Masih, to pressure the family not to file a case, and to come to an agreement with the culprits and to avoid a religious issue.

The Christian community tried to talk to the police, but the police seems helpless in recovering Masih from the local landlord. Despite several attempts, the police refused to comment/talk about the hideous incident “this is truly heart breaking that a minor has been gang rapped and her father was abducted to pressurize the family not to pursue   the case, this is a barbaric incident

Please pray for this precious little girl and the people in Asia and Africa. These things happen more often than is reported.
